I am meeting an old friend. is this normal to wear?

I have not seen this friend in a year, and since I last saw him, my wardrobe has changed considerably. now, I tend to wear suits, blazers, and sport coats, even on a casual basis, with or without a tie. the tie is worn depending on what I am doing. I also tend to wear pocket watches now, and I just in general seem to be a bit awkwardly dressed when compared to the average person walking down the street. I wear an overcoat when it is cooler out, such as today. I have a few, but I was thinking of a dark grey herringbone, double breasted, full length coat. I am also considering a medium grey suit, white shirt, and no tie. I do not have a waistcoat for this suit, so I will wear my pocket watch off of the buttonhole on my lapel. I do not have any pictures, though I can say that I look a bit like Sherlock on BBC one, save the scarf. and, of course, the pocket watch. is this at all normal, considering that I am only fifteen?

That is very stylish, but keep in mind that it might freak your friend out since the "average" fifteen year old boy doesn't go around in a suit. If you're worried about what he'll think of you, then docent just throw the whole wardrobe outthe window; subdue it a little. Perhaps some nice khakis and a polo shirt or dress shirt. Of course you know not to wear tennis shoes ;) but maybe (if you own a pair) you could wear some Sperrys in the classic color. Definitely keep the pocket watch. Maybe you could add a nice vest of some sort and keep the watch in the pocket? I hope this helps and remember to keep up that sweet sense of style! Cheers :)

At the very young age of fifteen years I'm quite sure that as with an ever changing fashion scene your friend will probably not even notice any difference if you turned up wearing a tutu and a pair of rubber diving boots.

I can't quite make out your motive for asking this question in the first place as it smacks of a certain smugness in describing your current mode of dress and a tendency to brag of a wardrobe that other fifteen year old boy's wouldn't necessarily possess and probably never purchase due to the casual clothes that youngster's of your age tend to wear today.

It's perfectly normal, wear what you're comfortable in, if this person is really your friend they won't care what you wear.
