Is "Climate Change Skepticism" a sickness that must be “treated?

Comparing skepticism of man-made global warming to racist beliefs, an Oregon-based professor of sociology and environmental studies has labeled doubts about anthropogenic climate change a “sickness” for which individuals need to be “treated”.

Norgaard equates skepticism of climate change alarmists – whose data is continually proven to be politicized, agenda driven and downright inaccurate – with racism, noting that overcoming such viewpoints poses a similar challenge “to racism or slavery in the U.S. South.”

--- Is this the mindset of this gaggle of arrogant, scoffing elitists in their drive to micro-manage the human race, which they regard as a plague on the earth?

Y!A doesn't allow me to post links without delisting my question, so for sources they are uonews dot uoregon dot edu and Info wars dot com <<< cross search that with the professor's name and it will come right up.

Update:

@Texas Mike: Apparently you didn't read the details of my question. I'm quoting an Eco Fascist, "Green Nazi" Professor who holds these views. I am a skeptic.

As a liberal that believes in climate change,i've stopped trying to convince the cons on that subject.I'm just happy to know that we're all in the same boat and I'll get the last laugh as we slowly burn up or suffocate from lack of breathable air.

Anyone who denies that global warming exists could probably use some professional help.

What is yet to be proven is how much man is responsible for this climate change.

No. Apparently you missed the memo where the Europeans admitted it was a scam. Look it up.

So now "Is "Climate Change Created by Man" a sickness that must be “treated?

"Some dastardly scientists with environmental and political motives manipulated long term scientific data back in the late 1990′s to create an allusion of rapid global warming. Other scientists of the same environmental wacko type jumped into the circle to support and broaden the “research” to further enhance the totally slanted, bogus global warming claims. Their friends in government steered huge research grants their way to keep the movement going. Soon they claimed to be a consensus."

It does not surprise me that many climate change deniers are also racists. I'm sure many of them are evolution deniers as well. The Republican brain rejects science and evidence. A recent study showed that when you present educated Republicans with clear and convincing proof that disproves one of their core (emotional) beliefs, they just cling to their factually wrong belief even more. Liberals on the other hand are open minded and willing to consider scientific evidence that contradicts their preconceived notions. That is a key difference between liberals and conservatives.

Anthropogenic climate change is a theory and there has yet to be any definitive evidence put forward to prove otherwise. All of the "proof" is derived from assumptions build into climate computer models.

  • climate change is a new world modification , they are spraying barium and aluminum in the air with all the chem trails and that's a fact, has nothing to do with co2 emissions that's a load of bunk...

    No.

But AlGorian brain disorder is becoming wide spread.

The ALGorian disease seems to tell people to disregard reality and only believe in theories.
