Is there any place in Arizona or New Mexico where it doesn't reach over 100 degrees on average in the summer?

I live in Sacramento, CA and it gets to be about 95 - 100 on average summers. I adore the idea of the Southwest, but I also don't do well in hot weather. How are winters, summers, and springs too?

So any place/area/city in either of those states?

Sure... Places like Prescott & Flagstaff, AZ., & Santa Fe, NM.- would be good Examples. I've been to ALL 3, they're up in the Mountains, & They're BEAUTIFUL in the Summer ( & MOST of the year- round ). :)

Find the mountains! Near LA and San Diego there are a lot of places that aren't too hot, it never gets to be more than 80 in Ranchos Palos Verdes.

  • higher elevations. I'm not sure where it is, but my aunt lives in Payson, and it doesn't get too hot there.
