If you are looking to increase power then go with a good set of slip on mufflers and keep the stock exhaust crossover in place. It is there for a reason and it works.As for the FuelPak, I run the Terry Terminal Velocity. It is an easy install and will compensate for any changes you make later on with no re-mapping.
