In terms of fossils for early man, how many fossils have been found?

Would it be enough to accurately represent the population?

Fossils can only exist where the conditions are ideal to do so and that is so rare!

Cave men type fossils are usually fairly complete but before that time they become much rarer and far from complete!

The earliest remains are found in Africa and mainly in Kenya.

"From skeletons to teeth, early human fossils have been found of more than 6,000 individuals. With the rapid pace of new discoveries every year, this impressive sample means that even though some early human species are only represented by one or a few fossils, others are represented by thousands of fossils. From them, we can understand things like:

how well adapted an early human species was for walking upright

how well adapted an early human species was for living in hot, tropical habitats or cold, temperate environments

the difference between male and female body size, which correlates to aspects of social behavior

how quickly or slowly children of early human species grew up."

Concerning the fossil record and the bible, they don't match, at all. However there's something that should be considered...

The Bible has always referenced us, as coming from the lineage of Adam and Eve, specifically. By omission it was assumed we were the only human-like creatures on Earth. This probably wasn't the case. This brings into question a whole host of questions, but it should be represented as it is. The Bible only deals with God's people, from Adam and Eve on, and doesn't talk to any other creatures...
