What would evidence proving God's existence be like?
I've asked this several times with little luck. With all that is claimed about God and His character, what would scientific, empirical evidence showing God be like?
13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoCould anyone provide evidence of where I was on 12th June 2004 at 3:00pm?
Where is the evidence that I existed at that time?
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoAtheists - What would evidence for God be like?
With all the claims religious groups make about the character of God, what would such empirical evidence showing God's existence consist of?
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoWith all the claims made about God's character, what would evidence for God "look" like?
Not being a physical being, how could God be proved?
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoAtheists: If aliens were discovered and also believed in God, would this sway you?
Let's assume here they also have no scientific evidence but came to the same conclusion in the existence of God.
Don't read any further into this question. I realise it doesn't prove anything. Just wondering is all.
20 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoWhat is meant by the term "agnostic atheist"?
By my understanding an agnostic is open to the idea of a God, but can't be certain whereas an atheist is against the idea entirely. Please fill me in.
21 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoIf evolution is a theory, is it reasonable to teach it as though it were a fact?
A great theory at that, but still a theory. Should any other theories of creation development be given any airtime in our educational institutions?
19 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoHow does one go about providing evidence of the existence of the Creator using the Creation?
How could you prove the exitence of Mr Biro by using a pen, or Mr Edison using a light globe?
16 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoCan the theory of early human evolution truly be called a scientific theory?
Now I do understand evolution and it has a lot going for it. But if we focus on evolution of mankind - is it a theory. It is not observeable nor testable - as I understand these are requirements for a theory. Year 8 science has taught me that looking at old fossils is an observation, but any conclusion derived from the fossils is an inference. And unless there are any Australopithecans around, the concept is not testable.
Comments please.
19 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoIn terms of fossils for early man, how many fossils have been found?
Would it be enough to accurately represent the population?
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoAre scientists and "religious" people alike both guilty of not recognizing the limitations of their field?
If there is a spiritual realm as there is a physical one, is it fair to use science to explain the non-physical? Likewise, is it reasonable to use a Bible to explain the physical universe?
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoEvolution and chromosomes. Please explain.?
How could humans and chimps evolve from the same common ancestor but today have a different number of chromosomes? Evidence please.
13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoHow many evolutionists could tell me the full name of Origin of the Species without looking it up?
When asked in February, Richard Dawkins couldn't.
