With all the claims made about God's character, what would evidence for God "look" like?

I'm a Christian, and what I'm about to say would tick off a lot of people who are also Christians, but I believe it's the truth (it's in the Bible).

God CAN'T be "proved" in the sense you're probably talking about.

Once I came to him in faith, proof of his existence began cropping up everywhere for me. For example, last week I ended up on the side of the road with nowhere to live. I had only the clothes on my back and what was in my backpack, and said a prayer for help. An hour later, a friend who has called me maybe three times in the entire time I've known her called, said she heard I was in trouble, and wanted to know where I was so she could come get me. I'm now staying at her place until I can get back on my feet. Now, unless it was an answer to prayer, why would this woman who I had never been really close to know I was in trouble and call me and provide me a place to live? I have stuff like that happen all the time, and I believe it's proof that there is a God watching out for me, who hears my prayers, and provides for me. A staunch non-believer would probably look at a lot of those things and chalk it up to coincidence, or their own abilities, or some other thing.

When Jesus was on this planet, he walked among the people and performed miracles, and even then, they didn't believe. Even with that kind of "proof" of God's existence, it apparently wasn't convincing enough if people didn't also have faith.

Have you ever studied the complications of the human body? Then you know how fragile it can be, how susceptible it is to disease, Ebola, flu, plague etc. The fact that you and your children wake up every phucking day, healthy with no ailments that jeopardize your life is a miracle in itself.

I reckon God is proved when you look deeply inside yourself and see that you are not all that you think you are. Then you realise the many many gifts that God gives by his presence in you.
