If you get sick, will you pray (religion), or take medication (science) or...?

... or will you do both?

Now, if you want to travel to a distant location, will you pray, or will you hop in an airplane? Will you do both?

Medication and vodka. I might pray to a rock...same results.

My ex was a traditional native healer. She would give prayers to the Creator as she collected the plants to make her medicines.

So, while I was with her, it was all of the above. I take medication, or her herbal medicines (I remember some of what she taught me), and, I pray. I have witnessed great healings using all of these things. And, combinations of them. This only makes sense - to use all, as they all work.

As for travelling, well, lacing the ability to fly myself, I take an airplane. Kind of a silly question, don't you think?

I would say Both. If I get sick I pray to Jehovah God for strength to endure, and take medications.

If I travel I will pray to God for direction and a safe trip, and then board a plane.

I'm not one for faith healing or such things, but I do believe in the power of prayer. (Mark 11:24)

First I pray then I travel to location then I pray for good journey.

    Both.

Faith and works, both are important. Taking medication or hopping in an airplane does not always lead to intended result, does it?

the thing about praying is that its been built into our minds as a comfortable mechanism to calm you down and make you feel at ease. Your talking to a supreme being that will help you. That's why people pray allot of the times in dire situations.

Medication. And when I travel, it's either by car or plane, depending on how far I have to go.

Paying does nothing. They only way praying will ever heal you is literally in your mind, it will make you THINK you are better so you act like your better but nothing has changed.

So be rational and take some medication.

    I'd never pray **** that.
