What's the point of TasKiller/Task Manager on Android phones?
Sometimes when I kill off an application, it pops back up. What's the point of it if the apps are going to start up again in a few seconds anyway?

There is infact no point in them. people thought it help improve battery life and prevent a phone from freezing. but this is no longer thought true. you don't need one at all. but it does help killing running apps and games every so often. but I just restart my phone once a week at least to clear the RAM up a little bit :)
