Accidentally took wrong birth control pill. please help?
I took the very last active (day 21 blue) pill when I was supposed to take the Day 4 white pill. It's 10pm so I can't call a Doctor right now to ask this.
Last month I missed the very last active pill, buy since my period was about to start I never took it, and would just start fresh anyway with a new pack. I also don't ever take my inacticve pills.
Well tonight I grabbed the wrong pack because I shook it to make sure it wasn't the old empty one...forgetting that I always leave the last 7 pills in the pack untouched. While driving tonight, without even looking I turned the dial and popped that last active pill that I missed from last month. I turned on the light and realized what I had done, so I found the new pack and took the correct one eight after, which was the 4th white pill for the first week. now I'm wondering if that was such. Good idea...Am I still protected as long as I continue the new pack as normal since there are no missing pills from my current pack??
Thanks in advance...

Just call your doctor in the morning and he/she or the nurse can answer all your questions for you.
