MEN do this to women, NOT the religion. Not all Men though are this way. What do they say? It takes two to tango? Those LAWS were the laws of men who put it under religion in order to control and own women. Most of us (SHOULD) know better by now. And Most Pagans don't do that either although there are some MEN who are Pagan who forget that women are equal and have a right to respect themselves and have a choice to participate or not. That was a law of Moses 8000 years before Christianity was even started. Yes it is in the bible but that does not necessarily apply to modern day. Just like some of America's and Britain's old laws do not apply today

I think marriage is the best right of a woman to a man. It is the man who is responsible to marry the woman once she lost her virginity. I think the woman has nothing to do here but to accept the marriage.

Nope, there is such thing as Historical Law context. You need to remember, this was Jews and Christians versus Romans. This is why atheists fail at reading the bible.
