What people are saying is that UNBRIDLED capitalism is a nightmare -- which should be obvious to all, now.

For capitalism to work, and not devolve into feudalism (with a very few people owning everything and everyone else slaving for THEIR benefit), you need reasonable controls.

No company should be allowed to become "too big to fail" -- they should be broken up.

There should be controls and regulations, and transparency. (For instance, financial companies can't invest other people's money in things they PLAN to make fail.) No unfair practices that prevent fair competition.

There need to be environmental controls.

There need to be protections of employee's right to collectively bargain.

And we need TRUE democracy, where the rich can't buy politicians to then do their bidding.

There are things that are best done by government, and those should be done by government, not solely by private organizations. For instance, infrastructure. Research -- when ALL research is privately funded, then necessary research is not done, if it's not profitable; and it's only the rich who own any innovation.

And there needs to be a "social safety net" for people who can't earn a living (because they're disabled, too old, or simply can't get a job, since there are never enough jobs for EVERY person to find one).

The best system is a limited capitalism, not unbridled capitalism.

I think capatilism is the best market with no regulation taxs gse's money creation stimulus or interest signal manipulations i think we can propser. if not that i think liberals and there market would be ok not as disastrous as free marketers make it out to be but not the best either.

    In my opinion?

A state enforced liberty based economic system with surpluses going towards worthy causes.
