How long should I wait before going white water rafting after getting a tattoo?

I am going white water rafting on June 15th. I want to get a wrist tattoo that says Explore. Dream. Discover. What I want to know is when I should get the tattoo done. I know its best to get it done after. But if I want it done before whats that latest time I should get the tattoo?

    About two weeks is the general timeline where you can do anything like that or swim in a pool. It should be pretty much healed by then. Just keep it moisturized and clean after you get it.

    It is best to get your tattoo done after you go water rafting. It is safer. But generally speaking, 2 weeks after your tattoo is done, you're good to go in the water.

    2 weeks before, tattoos heal pretty fast if they're cared for right... i assume

    so go with 2 weeks
