Fruit Basket or Candy Basket for Easter?

My Daughters received Fruit Baskets and now they are given to the Grandchildren and they Love them...

    Wow, that is a lot of candy and junk food. No child needs that much candy, especially a child that is only 3 years old. Candy is fine on special occasions and in moderation, but why not stick to just 2 or 3 small pieces and get him more things that he can play and have fun with instead of stuff that will rot his teeth and give him a sugar rush? My daughter is 17 months old and in her Easter basket I put the Disney Tangled DVD, a stuffed pink bunny, 2 board books, a Disney princess sippy cup, some plastic Easter eggs with stickers inside, a small bag of whole wheat pretzels, and 1 small Hersheys white chocolate candy bar.
