Do you think its necessary to clean a newborns tongue?

I have a newborn she's 12 days old, I notice milk build up on her tongue. Is it necessary or optional to clean her tongue? If necessary what are some techniques?

It isn't necessary to clean it. Babies get a little build up. It's normal. Congrats on your little one!

No. My daughter had the white cover on her tongue as well. I tried to get it off with the scraper, a cloth, and even my finger nail. It wouldn't come off. Once she started teething the drool eventually washed it away dont worry.

It's not necessary, I have two kids and I never cleaned their tongue

No, definitely okay and very normal. You don't have to do anything until she's got a few teeth ;)
