Should I give my new friend a birthday present?
I've known this soon-to-be 16 y/o girl for 2 months, but since the moment I met her I've felt as if I've known her all my life.:)
Her b-day's coming soon and I know she hasn't got a lot of people to talk to, because she's new in our school.
Do you think it's a good idea to get her a present and invite her somewhere to spend some time with her?
Also, what should I get her?
She's really funny, got a sarcastic type of humor, loves literature and good music, but not so much clothes. That's kinda weird for me because I almost always buy clothes and something else for my friends, now I think I gotta stick with a book and a CD.
Any other ideas? That seems way too boring to me.
Thanks a lot!:) I want to make my new friend happy!

Ive had something like this situation before! Buy what shes interested in, like what sort of artist/author she likes and stuff like that. I suggest you should buy something like a merchandise of her favorite artist and she will love it! Be creative, at least it has something to do with her favorite artist/author/book or something :)

Yes i think you should buy her something or offer to take her for a meal and you pay or the cinema?
You could always get her some perfume, or a DVD that you enjoy watching then plan a girly night in and invite some of your friends to so she can get to know more people?
Hope that helps

If you didn't meet her that long ago I'd still give her a gift but not anything major, you know? Something like some bath stuff or perfume (not a big bottle) That's what I get for people I barely know but are still really nice to me. If I JUST met them I get them stuff like a box of chocolate.

E Bay sells very almost each thing. pay attention of fakes etc if sounds to solid to be genuine then that's. on the different hand there are some great deals the two new and 2d hand. QVC is likewise solid for rings and a mass of different issues. Stuff is returnable to boot.
