Can you use wood as a wick in candles? Safe or not safe at all?

    As far as I know no one sells wood wicks for candle making. They do, however, sell candles with wood wicks in them, rather than cotton.

    no, when the wax melts its absorbed by the wick, that's why you cant use regular string for wicks. The wood wont absorb the wax. check ebay or amazon.
