1998 Grand Cherokee run on E85?

I've seen conversion kits for $220 that convert to E85. How do these conversion kits work? They look very simple, can you install them easily by yourself? If you convert to E85, you can't run regular gas as well can you? Any downsides? How much would the grand total be?

Update:

Yeah, not worth it.... maybe if I kept my vehicle for 10 years haha

Well the downside to E85 is that you MPG will drop and it usually cost more. What needs to be converted are any rubber components that can't handle alcohol. Alcohol is a solvent and it slowly dissolves some rubber parts like hoses and seal. The other thing that needs to be changed is the computer chip so that it can handle the lower performance of alcohol.

Chrysler has said that any of their vehicles produced after 2001 can be converted, the down side is alcohol attracts water,so your Fuel injection system must be designed for it
