How much should I be charging for invitations?
I have made enough invitations to start my portfolio, but all the ones I've made have been free of charge (for family and friends). Last week I got a call from a lady who would like me to design and make the invitations for her daughter's sweet 15 party and I dont know how much to charge. Can you all help me with website references, your own payscales, or any other information I need to fairly price my own work. The particular ones I'm making for her are photo invitations mounted on decorative cardstock and will include envelopes. I print my 4x6 invitations for 13¢ each and my 5x7 invitations for 39¢ each.

idk you could still have them free to build a long standing relationship or just charge enough to have it worth your time/effort and supplies

4x6 invitations should be 50 cents each and I would price 5x7's at 75 cents each. You can raise or lower the price from there as needed.
