Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, or Atonement?

I have to choose a book to read for my british literature class and was wondering which of these three I should choose. Let me know why I should read one over the others. also are Jane Austen's books difficult/slow to read? thank you!

Pride and Prejudice is one of my all-time favorite books and I would highly recommend it. It's been a while since I first read it, but I remember finding it to be a bit of a slow read in parts that first time. Never found it difficult to understand though. It's an excellent, funny read with wonderful characters and a great story. I enjoyed Sense and Sensibility as well, though not as much as Pride and Prejudice. I haven't read Atonement, but I really didn't enjoy the story in the movie. If you do find yourself having trouble with Pride and Prejudice, or even if you aren't, the BBC mini series they made with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle in the 90's is excellent and can help explain parts you might not have understood. Certainly not a replacement for the book, but a nice companion to it.

jane austen are classic e book, so it would desire to be slightly had to decipher it on the start (like the old school be conscious). experience and sensbility has a sister courting perspective into it yet no longer as witty as satisfaction and prejudice. i in no way examine atonement formerly

My favorite of those is Pride and Prejudice. I don't think it's slow, because it gets into what it's about on the first sentence. It does have a bit of a complex plot, although a study guide will help with that. It is a nice love story about a woman who thinks she knows everything until this guy shows her that she is completely wrong about pretty much everything.

Sense and Sensibility is very good, too, and easy to read. I think the situation the girl gets into in that book is something a young person today can still relate to. She is in love with someone, but needs to be nice to the girl everyone thinks he is involved with. I think her novels are easy to read once you get used to the way she writes.

Atonement is a very good novel. However, it is heavy on description and not so easy as the others, if that is what you are looking for. If you need to write an essay about it, though, it would be easy since it is so full of meaning.
