Alcohol called Roots?
While I was on Vacation on St Thomas a while ago I was served a shot of Liquor that I believe the guy called it roots. It was Jet Black and it was extremely strong. He also said that at one time in the past was made form roots and insects
Anyone know any details of what it was?
I dont really need the ingredients, I was just looking to pick up a bottle now that I am stateside

the recipe for the roots drink will vary from place to place. it is sold commercially as well.
asking for the ingredients list is like asking for the recipe of that famous cola drink... but good luck!
