Does white chocolate ganache and red velvet cake go together?

Is white chocolate ganache and red velvet a better combination

or

cream cheese frosting and red velvet?

By the way, can someone please give me a cream cheese frosting/icing that can be piped? So it's not too thin or runny because I want to be able to pipe designs on the red velvet cake I'm making.

Thanks!

I think white chocolate would be heavenly with red velvet; cream cheese frosting would also work very well.

I think http://www.food.com/recipe/cream-cheese-frosting-6... would be a good recipe, the consistency is thick and creamy but would also be thin enough to use for piping. If you make it and it's too thick, add some extra milk; if it's too thin add some more powdered sugar until it gets to where you want it to be.

You could also use the white chocolate cream cheese frosting in this recipe and get the best of both worlds! :) http://www.food.com/recipe/coconut-cupcakes-with-w...

also, in the pictures it looks like this was piped onto the cupcakes, so this would work as well.

"Red Velvet" cake is nothing but chocolate cake dyed red. Use whatever you want on it.

yes the cream cheese is better and for your cream cheese frosting you have to do add half the cream cheese and half of you get of icing powder and mix until its just right for you
