Sharp pain left side of back.?
whenever i move or bend down get a sharp pain in the lower left part of my back. Whenver i sit down i have trouble standing back up. Im only 36 years old. I am a carpenter and do lots of hard work. could it be a kidney problem or mucle problems. Please help Im also male if that helps

It sounds like you may have hurt muscles or ligaments in your back. The pain can be severe and may be worsened when you move in certain specific ways. Aspirin may calm it down, but if it continues or gets worse, ask your doctor about it.
Kidney stones can cause extremely severe, colicky pain in the flank, but it wouldn't necessarily be linked to specific movements, and it would tend to occur in paroxysms that could last for quite some time before subsiding. You probably wouldn't be able to do much of anything with this type of pain except call for a doctor.
