How to make store bought frosting thinner?

I am trying to make corset cookies for a bridal shower and I need to know how to make regular store bought frosting a little thinner?

    Whenever I MAKE icing, it always comes out too thin, so that must be what makes it. Milk, I mean. Add a little bit of milk and stir it in until is the consistency you desire.

    Add some milk and mix it in very well.

    Water can be substituted if you want it to be a little less sweet.

    *skim milk works best

    You can add any form of milk from whole to heavy cream or you can use water!!

    NOT skim milk!! that stuff is full of chemicals to make it look desireable!

    I would use water or possibly fruit juice. Preferably, water.
