Why am I so obsessed with One Direction?

I've been asking myself the same question. I also love Florence + the Machine and other indie stuff. I know in my head that's probably not healthy, but I just can't stop :)

The only way I can explain it, it is just their personalities. They are all gorgeous and each one of them is special in there own way. The way they act around each other - just hilarious. Individually I don't think they would make such an impact, but put them together in a room and voila ! The fact that they are all handsome and dress amazingly doesn't hurt either. AND all of them can actually sing, which is not given in the music industrie. - I'm 19 by the way. Also through various video they post we feel like we know them and they are not fake at all and more relate-able than other famous people.

Same with me I was a total metal head, when I first saw them I was all 'ugh another annoying boy band' then slowly I started with only liking one song then I ended up buying their whole album and then I started watching their interviews and everything and I have grown to love them I've even bought a hoodie that say's I love 1D. I know, I know like every other obsessed teenage girl but I can't control it, It's the first time I've ever loved a band so much. I've got one direction infection :)

It's just because they're hot and all teen girls go through the "boy band" phase. As to why you like their music, I'd say it's because it's fresh to your brain, so you like it.

"oh man 1D sucks wow seriously i'm not going to get sucked into that." - everyone before they get sucked in.

i'm not kidding. at first i was just like, oh...okay. cute british guys that can sing. and now i'm literally obsessed. in love with all 5 of them. i can't help it. i don't know what happened. it's like biebermania all over again, god.

they are lovely boys, though. so i guess that helps.
