Birth control pills??!?

So, my friend wants to take a months worth of my birth control pills, im not using them anymore anyway though, so its fine..But im a little nervous for her..She wants to take them, and stop on purpose, and the next day have unprotected sex with her boyfriend..Since i got pregnant at 17..she's 18, and she thinks being this young, with a child...is cool..NOT AT ALL! But i support her decisions in every kind of way, i will not disrespect her?? But bottom line is, WILL SHE GET PREGNANT? i dont understamd why she just wont have sex..and get pregnant..rather than going through with the pillss..but whatever

First of all, have you expressed to her how hard it is to be a teenager and a mom? And tried to talk "sense" in to her? While it is ok to say you support her choices, we both know how hard it is to be a mom and how being a mom so early can really change the way your life could have turned out (I know because I was a teenage mom and now 10 years later, I am just getting to go to college, something I was all set up to do the month after I graduated).

Secondly, there is a wild myth that taking birth control and then stopping suddenly causes you to get pregnant faster. However, taking birth control does stop your ovulation which is what helps you to conceive. So in reality, taking the pills could be what keeps her from getting pregnant, though it would take a month for it to go into effect in the first place.
