Tight foreskin, time to see a doctor?
I have just turned 16 and ivd had enough of it now. It is starting to cause me various problems and the stretching isn't working. Should I consult a doctor in the morning to see what he can do for me?

Stretching does work, it's just that most males don't do it for as long and as often as they need to. Plus a lot of guys will do it for like a week and then quit. Well sorry but it can take several months to stretch the skin out. You can't give up on it because it doesn't magically work over night.
Now you don't mention how tight your skin is. Can you retract it when flaccid? That's important.
The easiest way to stretch the skin is to get a full erection, pull the skin as far back as you can WITHOUT pain and hold it there for 5-10 minutes. Do this 3 times a day. Within 1-2 weeks you should notice the skin getting looser. Keep going until you can retract the skin all the way back when erect.
The only thing the doctor can do for you is prescribe you a steroid cream to help with the stretching or refer you to a surgeon for a circumcision and I highly recommend that you avoid circumcision at all costs. You are only 16, it's pretty easy to fix a tight foreskin with proper stretching at your age. No need to rush to amputation.

Hi George: Stretching really does work but it needs to be consistent. Something hit and miss will not give you the results you want.
You need to stretch in the morning, throughout the day during washroom breaks (a simple retraction as far as is possible here is good) and again in the evening. Two good, full stretching sessions over the day are needed for best results, supplemented by retraction during washroom breaks, and doing them every day.
I have posted some information links below that detail stretching exercises you can do in the shower, or anywhere you have a private moment.
There is nothing wrong with you that some simple foreskin stretches cannot solve.
You have a naturally tight foreskin, just like every other intact (not circumcised) man on the planet had at your age.
Over 85% of the males on earth are intact so you are on the winning side. The other 15% are envious and wish they still were intact.
Follow the information in the links below and work the foreskin stretches into the daily shower routine.
Let the warm water loosen and relax the skin before stretching.
Stretches are to be firm, but gentle, with no pain. Pain is a damage indicator. Over stretching till it hurts can create micro tears in the skin opening that will heal over with non elastic scar tissue, making retraction more difficult. No pain,...ever.
What will happen is the Frenar Band (google it) of muscle that closes down the skin opening will relax and expand enough to allow the foreskin to glide effortlessly back and forth over the coronal rim of the glans.
You should see some good results in two weeks, with full and painless retraction in 3-4 months. If it takes longer just keep stretching.
If you choose to see a doctor about this, ask for Betamethasone cream. This is the standard that is prescribed to help loosen a tight foreskin. Do not let the doctor even breathe the word: Circumcision. You don't need that. Find a new doctor if need be....someone who will treat the matter without taking a knife to your penis.
You can also go to the drug store and get Cortisone cream. You can buy a weaker version off the shelf at .5% under the name "Cortaid". This type of cream will work as well,...just not as effectively as the higher strength stuff from the doctor will.
Apply the cream an hour before and give it time to work its magic before stretching.
You have to do the stretches in conjunction with cream use, so why not just try the stretches first?
Do not listen to anyone who claims you need to force the skin back to clean under there. Nature has this well in hand. The foreskin/glans combination produce a powerful anti microbial compound called Langerin. Langerin wards off bacteria and keeps this area clean and disease free.....just like you are now.
Go to: www.norm.org and read about the reason and function of the foreskin. You will see how very fortunate you are to still have yours, and how misguided are those who promote circumcision for any reason.
Good luck and I hope this helped.

keep stretching it worked for me surgery was way too nasty ,follow the other guys instructions . you can get steroid cream to soften the skin making it more stretchy .getting circumcised is not the answer at all you will find that very traumatic ,you can buy a glansie and other small stretching devices on line that should help you , preputioplasty or Z plasty is the correct last option its a small op with a quick healing time no tissue is removed and it has a 99% success but you will have to push to get referred for it because most dumb moron doctors just don't think logically and prescribe circumcision for everything because they can't be bothered ,

Yes you should and don't be embarrassed about it because it is a fairly common issue with non circumcised guys . Usually some creams under prescription can sort things out
