    Scheduling is very important to avoid idle time. In particular, it is important to schedule exercise as a part of your day. Exercise releases positive chemicals in the brain which will make you feel more motivated in general.

    Often people who are called lazy aren't. Often so-called "lazy" people only feel overwhelmed when presented a task that seems more fit for a big team than just one person. Sometimes, however, it is chronic laziness that kicks in and stops us from doing the things that need to be done.     Let's say that you need to fold some clean clothes, load the dishwasher, write a sentence. . . etc. Tell yourself that you will do it for five minutes, ten minutes -- you decide. Look at the clock or set a timer. Then you'll see what you can accomplish in that amount of time. Once you get started you'll probably get on a roll. Most people will wait for the motivation, but they don't get that until they start actually doing it.
