Yahoo users. How many of you are interested in honest intellectual debate and how many of you are simply?

I came here Hoping to FIND anyone with a LINK to a SITE with Courteous, Factual, Debate and Discussion to further My Understanding.

The Few Suggestions I have gotten were ACTUALLY worse than Here.

OR it was a BUNCH of Cons Stroking Each Others Values:

OR it was a BUNCH of Libs Crying in their Beer about how OPPRESSED they are.

Is there a PLACE with People from Both SIDES that actually Come Up with Compromises and Ideas that would Satisfy the Most People and actually Help find Solutions

I enjoy an honest debate but those are few and far between. This forum isn't really set up for debate. Its set up to answer a question without rebuttal from the questioner unless it is done through email or breaking the community guidelines with chat.

Every time I try honest debate, the only response I get is "you just want to kill old people, sick people, women, blacks, etc.". How can there be any debate when the other side refuses to communicate like an adult?

This is Not a Debate forum but a knowledge seeking site. If they can't understand the rules then it is impossible for them to answer your question

I am a woman without a party, so I actually just want to debate ideas.

I prefer landing a punch on the jaw because I don't take Yahoo seriously.

Yahoo! Answers is about questions and answers, not about debate.

If you try to debate, your question/answer will be reported for "chat", better to just get in that one zinger and call it a day.

One does not simply punch the jaw of an opposing party.
