Similar incidents to Optus-Telstra AFL broadcast dispute?

There are some obvious similarities between this dispute and the dispute between the music industry and internet pirates, which centres around copy write and/or ownership. But beyond that it becomes a legal minefield and largely untested ground, with technology outstripping the speed with which the legal system can provide protection.

Mate! This is the Australian Rules forum where the aim is to talk about the actual GAME of Australian Rules Football... There is no room for the banality of external politics, legalities and commercialism. The media are a bunch of ignorant wankers and the telcos are money grubbing litigious bastards. But hey that's another issue all together!
Who do you like for this round? Hawks or Crows?!!
