what graphics card is better Nvidia GeForce GT 525m or AMD Radeon(TM) HD 7690M GDDR5?
it will be in a laptop with a 2nd generation Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2670QM (2.2 GHz, 6MB L3 Cache) with Turbo Boost up to 3.1 GHz and 8GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm).
from my initial research it seems the radeon is better but i would like other ppls opinion
the geforce card also has optimus capability

While I agree with Johnny, the Raden in this case is easily the faster GPU.

Radeon and Geforce have always been a conflict of personal preference to which they find better.
For me I will always stick with Nvidia Geforce cards

Lets just say this, the hd7690m would destroy the gt525m in gaming performance so i wound get the radeon one.
