How do you be an expert in anything? Practice. Or if that doesn't work, get aimbot :D

Don't just spam your sword, strafe around them so you can get good hits without being compromised yourself. Also, use potions. They are very helpful.

If you want to PvP, play a proper PvP game. Minecraft is for building things, not fighting..
