This means that it is looking for the operating system (Windows 7). If after a few mins nothing has happened (basically it cant find it) , turn it off and take it into the store.

Alternatively if you are ok with computers you could...

    (1) Check that the hard drive is plugged in by unscrewing the back casing.

(2)Go into the BIOS. This is the basic interface your computer can use in a situation like this. Shortly before the line appears a screen should say something similar to "press esc key to enter startup menu". Whatever it says do it. Then select using arrow keys and enter, or mouse depending on your computer type, the option which says something like - Set boot priority or Boot Drive Options. Select the internal hard drive (Not the internal DVD drive) and put it in Priority one position, hit enter when over it, just select it in the way which looks right. (Method is similar but different on different PCs)

    Good Luck

Try to hook up your laptop by cable with external display: if there will be normal image - then smth is wrong with your screen on a laptop.

If there will be the same line on external display, then the issue might be either in video chip or in HDD.

Anyways, since it's brand new, just bring it to the service for warranty repairs.
