Wi Fi question about cell phone?

Not sure this is correct category but here goes. If I use my home wi fi or ATT "hotspot" to connect to internet with my phone, will this deduct from my phones data package quota? I can not get answer from ATT

No. The data package and its limit are just for data transferred over the cell network.

no it wont add to your cell usage, as its transferring data over your home internet service instead of the cell phones data service.
