    North Carolina!! ( I'm bias, because I'm a Tarheel. )

    No, really.......

Both states have advantages, and disadvantages. North Carolina has friendlier weather, I think. South Carolina is notoriously hot. North Carolina has a pretty coastline, and nice mountains. South Carolina has some great antebellum sites, and reflects much of the "Old South" look. People are friendly in both states, and I enjoy being in both. North Carolina bar-b-que is better! Sorry! South Carolina has great deer hunting! North Carolina has great deep sea fishing!

South Carolina has cheaper gas prices. North Carolina taxes you to death! That's the bad side.

How do you decide? They're both very nice states, and have nice people in them. I think it's just a matter of your personal preference. I'm very happy here in the N.C. mountains. It's always been home to me.

I've been to both, they're both fine, but I liked NC more because it's more advanced. A BTW I spent more time in SC.
