Have you tried Shea Moisture products? and what are your reviews...?
Okay, I fell for all the hype about Shea Moisture products sold at Walgreens & Target for curly natural hair...It stripped my hair! I even asked the company for a refund it was so bad with no response from them. What was your take on it?
I am also thinking about taking Biotin to grow hair long, should I??

The Shea moisture products are horrible! They do not do justice to curly hair at all. It takes away the moisture and leaves your hair coarse and dry. I was in utter shock when I came out of the shower. I did call the company to complain and they sent me a refund to my credit card that I used to purchase the item.
As for Biotin, I've heard great things about it and most people are very happy with it, it seems. Then again you are forcing the growth of your hair and that in all could cause side effects. So be careful! It may be more in your benefit to wait it out as putting chemicals in your hair may mistreat the quality of it. With this said Good luck my dear!
Source(s): I have super curly hair naturally and have used the Shea moisture products. I also have friends who have used biotin very a while now. - Anonymous9 years ago
For natural hair biotin will work. You can take those skin hair and nails vitamins.
Another thing that works for me is Castor oil.
