pokemon fire red suicune help?

With charmander as you starter; you must defeat the elite four and obtain the national pokedex.

Suicune can be found randomly as grassy area in Kanto. You won't be able to locate until you've seen him once, by doing so you can use the pokedex's locate function to home in on him.

He'll only appear in grassy areas, not caves, not buildings and only in Kanto, not on any islands (I think).

To find him for the first time try using a Pokemon of level 40 to 45 and use repels to stop other Pokemon, as suicune will be at level 50 he won't be affected.

Another way to find him without actually seeing him is to trade suicune from Pokemon colossuem and then trade back, you'll get the entry in the pokedex so you can find him easier.

As soon as you find I recommend using the master ball due to his speed and the fact he's a coward. If you don't have the master ball or don't wish to use it try using a fast Pokemon that has moves like mean look (haunter will be great) or try putting him to sleep. If you can hit his HP until it's low.

If suicune runs away he'll still be at the same HP, so you won't need to fight him from scratch.

With HP low and a status affliction like 'par' or 'slp' throw some ultra balls at him until he's caught.

You won't be able to see suicune if you started with a Pokemon other than charmander. If you chose squirtle you'll find Raikou, and with bulbasaur comes Entei.

One really good way to find and catch suicune is to go to viridian city because there are only weak Pokemon in the grass.Get a golbat from lvl 46 to level 49 with the move mean look.Mean look makes it so that suicune does not run away which will be the first thing he tries to do.Go to a store that sells max repel or super repel and buy about 20 because that's all you'll need.Get a bunch of ultra balls or if you have a master ball that will work perfect.Go on route 2 where the grass is and use your repels with golbat at the front of your list.Run around the grass for a while and if Suicune does not pop up enter the building and exit(This changes Suicune's location)and try the grass again.When suicune pops up use mean look and it will prevent him from running away.The effects of mean look only work if golbat is still in play.You won't catch him first try so just weaken him as much as you can.if he runs away he will be in your pokedex.check your pokedex and if hes not where you are then enter and exit the building and check the pokedex again.(do this until he shows up on route 2).Dont bother trying to go after it because it will just change location!When suicunes health is too low to hurt him with golbat get a ratata with quick attack and put him at the top of the list before you find him again.Quick attack is a move that always strikes first.he will run away after and if his health is as low as it can possibly get switch ratatta with a Pokemon that has hypnosis or any move that causes a status affliction(nothing that hurts him!) before you find him again.he will run away but he will keep the status affliction.When his health is super low and he has a status afliction put golbat at the top of the list again and find him.Use mean look and then you're ready to try and capture him.If you have a master ball you wont even have to weaken it!
