how is a family meal each of the following?

These can be grouped by one answer:

The dinner table occupied by the entire family shows togetherness.

Each offering their part of conversation.

What happened that day whether at work, at school, at play, etc.

Questions and answers.

Learning from each other.

What its like to be together as a family even if it is this little part of the day/night.

Helping to cook the meal, set the table, doing the dishes afterward; in general helping each other in their own small way.

Of course this expands to other parts of the day, i.e. breakfast perhaps.

Its my best part of the day and guessing many other families as well.

As we all have our lives to live outside the family, work, school, whatever, I look forward to dinner to catch up on what the rest are doing and how their day went.
