Do warm/hot bathes help make ear infections go away faster?
I have a bad ear infection, and every time I take a hot bath, it feels so much better dunking my head in the water for 20 minutes.. but I'm worried that it will pro-long the ear infection because I'd imagine that the water thats left in my ear will help spread the bacteria in there.. any advice?

Dont do that water get stuck in there and causes extreme pressure, which can be often mistaken for a ear infection, also another thing that can also be mistaken for an ear infection.. may be gross but true.. Dried ear wax that is stuck to the inside perimeter of your ear. for ear infections you may need to get a perscription for ear drops from your doctor. if it water pressure. the best way to get water out.. and u can even make this part of your daily routine to prevent water pressure, is to drain your ears out with alcohol. you can do this with a dropper just tilt your head all the way over. drop a few drops of alcohol inside listen for into drain all the way into the ear cannel, then hold a towel to your ear as you tilt your head to drain it out... listen for it all to get out. and for the ear wax thing. olive oil loosens it up and helps relieve some of the pain.
