Do I qualify for a Pell grant or some other financial Aid?
I am approaching my last term for my BBA and have completed my capstone project. However, I really want to start a different education path in computer sciences. If I drop out before my last term starts and never officially get my BBA degree, will I qualify for financial aid for the other degree? I realize that a person does not qualify for government aid if they have a bachelors and I am basically just trying to get financial aid to help pay for a new degree.
Also I have not conferred my degree yet.

Your biggest problem
is going to be cut-off when you have
(1) too many credits for your chosen major... when you change majors, especially in your last 2 years, you almost guarantee yourself problems
(2) to many credits outside of your major... similar problem to #1
(3) max total of 180 credits toward Bachelor's Degree.... this includes every class attempted, even Withdrawals
(4) max # of semester with FAFSA is 12
You could be committing "academic suicide" and cause yourself to not have funding to complete any major... best get with your Fin Aid office before you go any further with this idea

You can only receive the pell grant for 12 semesters. There are also cut off for aid if you have too many credits and other things like that.
