Unfortunately, that period is wildly unpredictable. There have been several times over the last few years when I have had a weekend in that time frame that dumped 4.5-5.3" of rain in my backyard. But is can equally be 80-90 or higher. The time frame was supposed to be hotter than average this year. While we once set a record of 100 on April 1 in Dallas, that same year saw one of the coolest June's in history.
Bring light clothes - and to be honest, as when I went back to northern Illinois for a school reunion - instead of buying clothes down here at 105 in mid September, I just left space in luggage and planned on a couple of hours in Kohl's or a similar place getting a jacket and the right weight shirts for what the weather was there then.

Likely in the 80-90 deg range for days not cooling off much for night. Could be cooler, or warmer. Don't even plan on using a hair straightner or curler, it is humid here. Get a perm if you got to do anything.

Use Wunderground's travel planner, give a great summary of what to expect.

It could be pleasant, it could be hot, it could be rain, or sunny.
It will not be cold.
Spring can be stormy or hot, and if you do not like the weather, just wait an hour or so and it might change to something totally different.
