Im really depressed and upset about Naruto finishing!!!?
I can tell that Naruto is close to completely finishing. I doubt Kishimoto would create another arc after the current one now. Im really upset about thinking that it's going to end. It's been something I regularly watch and read every thrusday for many years now. It's had a great impact on my life and all the characters grow on you. It's an anime that fits in with life so much and brings a tear to my eyes at MANY times. I can't think of it ending, I would be SOOOOO depressed. Does it make me a weird person that I hate these feelings for something that is drawn? It's perfect in every way to me and I doubt I will find any anime better than this. It's my all time favourite. Any advice anyone can give me on to help myself out of this? And no point giving hateful words because I will just block you.

I've heard rumours that Kishimoto may be planning a sequel series starring Naruto's child/children. So I imagine we'd be looking at a Dragonball-Dragonball Z sort of thing. I mean, considering the stakes happening now, how could you top it without going to further extremes? And you know something? Those extremes are possible. There's a world outside of the Five Nations and military groups that are not ninja, as Iron Country and its Samurai have shown us. Though there's no guarantee such a thing would happen, there's certainly room for a continuation on the condition we get new characters to share these experiences with.

I'm pretty upset too, but I also have a feeling the series will last a little longer that we might expect. A lot of avenues have been closed already but there's still a few holes to fill too, and that would take time. I don't think there'll be another arc after the war either, but the war will probably go on for a good while. Even so, once they close every avenue they intend on finishing, it'll be hard and almost pointless to keep going. Dragonball was supposed to end at least 3 times, but they thought of new stuff and kept going on and on until the finished Dragonball GT. That was awesome and everything, but once it ran its course it was time to say goodbye. There's always the slight possibility that after Naruto gets Sasuke back, they'll come up with some new goal that takes him 10 more seasons to achieve like becoming a jonin or defeating some new villain with kage-leveled skills, but even then the series will have to end eventually. I know how this feels, but have faith that it's worth the satisfaction you'll get from how Naruto's conclusion plays out, and the even the ending will be "perfect in every way". Even if a better anime never turns up, this depression will pass. You may not believe it, but I promise you it won't be that bad.

Try getting yourself into something else, so that if it does, then you can focus on that. I don't like Naruto, in fact i'll go so far as to say that it's my least favourite anime, but i do understand getting somewhat upset over something ending. When toonami went off air in 08 i was devastated. I think i even cried alittle lol. But i just watched something else. I'm a major yu-gi-oh fan, but only of the original series and i got quite upset when that ended.
