Are we just friends or more?

We are not lovers

But a common love stands

We share our thoughts together

And speak our hearts better than anyone

Our words relate and soar free

Like wings of birds in flight

Without any restrictions

One day I will miss you perhaps

But we can`t fall in love

For we are just friends.

    I like this poem, for what you say

    is true. Friends and lovers

    are completely separate.

    True lovers are never friends first.

    They can go through the motions but

    never meet the absolute depth of lovers.
