Just how f#@Kinbg STUPID ARE YOU? You people come here and ask a 5 word question with THOUSANDS of possible answers and you are so STUPID and ARROGANT that you actually expect a one paragraph reply. THERE IS NO BEST PLACE because BEST is 100% SUBJECTIVE or don't you know even THAT much? AND.. when you idiots ask that question.. YOU NEVER GIVE ANY INFORMATION.. such as WHAT YOUR INTERESTS ARE
It's looks to me like you just got a few names from some question on here and don't actually KNOW anything about those islands you named

Barbados has lovely beaches, attractions and activities, Grenada has wonderful eco-tourism attractions and beaches, St. Lucia has lovely beaches and unique islands adventures, Jamaica has lovely beaches, eco-tourism attraction, and wonderful fun filling activities. All of these islands are good picks but if you really want to have fun Jamaica might be your best option. The destination of Negril and Ocho Rios are to destination to look at. You can definitely find affordable hotels is all the islands through.

You don't say what you're looking to do or see, so it's hard to make any suggestions. Summer is the off-season in the Caribbean, so you should be able to find some good rates. Of course, part of this is because it's also hurricane season, so that's something to consider. You'd definitely want trip insurance!
To avoid the likelihood of hurricanes, you may want to consider the ABC islands - Aruba, Bonaire or Curacao.
Some Caribbean islands have problems with crime, so you'd also want to check on that, e.g. for Jamaica and St. Lucia.
