What happens in Mass Effect 3 if you let all your squad members die in Mass Effect 2?
I was just wondering. I know Shepard has to live in order to import into ME3, but what happens in ME3 if everyone on the squad dies and just Shepard survives? Do they just not appear in ME3? Then what about the Rannoch mission etc.

Shepard MUST be alive in order for you to import the game

If everyone in the squad dies in the second game, then shepard gets dropped and dies.. In Me 3 you get three characters no matter what. EDE, James, and either Ashley or Kaiden. So it really doesn't make a difference.

In ME2, the bare minimum is Shepard and two other survivors. If there are less than two survivors by the end of ME2, then Shepard dies.
If you only have 2 survivors at the beginning of ME3, then most of the characters are replaced by other people. Doesn't make too much of a difference.
