Naturally the first I could forgive. I would be hurt and angry for a good period of time, but I would not blame the killer. Well I might for a quick spell, but I am not an irrational person: I would get over that.

If it was something that could have been avoided, yes I could still forgive, but that person would not be allowed in my or my family's life ever! Not because I hate them or have not forgiven them, but because I would not want to and if they were around I know my attitude would be nasty towards them.
