Has anyone owned a Novara Forza bicycle? Opinions?
I need a new bike, and this looks like it has what I need, but $600 is a lot for me, so if anyone can tell me anything about this one I'd appreciate it.

It's a pretty good price for what you get, and it'll work, but REI does have less expensive bikes that, IMO, are just as good.
The front fork on the Forza, for example, adds expense and weight with little benefit (cheap suspension forks are for show, not utility). There are several bikes at REI in the $500 price range with similar componentry but with rigid forks.

Did you look at the reviews from those that already own one? 4.5 stars out of a possible 5 stars. Specs look good. If it rides nice to you & feels right...go buy it.
