I've been told that there is a proper height to have a Buddha statue in my garden. Any suggestions ?

I don't think there's one proper height because it's going to depend on the size of the statue.

All I've heard is that it shouldn't be placed directly on the ground and you shouldn't be looking down on it, so it would need sufficient height to bring it to eye level.

Just what every good Christian wants is a Buddha statue in their garden or overlooking their garden from a neighbor. Suggestion? Get rid of it

It should only be off the ground and at eye level or higher. The actual statue's size is not relevant. Same goes for Hindu gods.
