On the screen of my laptop the mouse pointer is completely missing and won't work, how do I fix this?
I am not technologically advanced or know how to play with computer settings. I turned my computer on yesterday, and there was no mouse. It wasn't even invisible because I can't click on anything or move, I can only use my keyboard, but its hard to get through the computer. It's an Acer net-book, so I don't use a mouse for it, I use the touch-pad. I believe the issue is in my computer because the mouse is completely gone and won't work at all and I would just like to know how I can get it back. Also, I HAVE already tried a system restore, but my mouse was still gone afterwards. The only thing that managed to do was turn off Norton Security System so I'm afraid to use my computer at all without it, but I can't get to it without a mouse.
