Criminal Minds Spencer Reid..drug addiction?

Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds?

I know he had a drug addiction and that was in season two. After he got kidnapped. But I was wondering if he ever admitted he had a problem and needed help? I know his team were worried for him and noticed changes and probably had an idea. But did he ever admit it?

Or did anybody speak to him and admit that they know what was going on and that he needs help?

If so do you remember what episode it was on?

I'm Curious because I want to see if its on youtube or something. I didn't watch those earlier seasons. But last night I watched the two episodes with the kidnapping and I already knew he had a drug addiction. I wanted to find some of those episodes and watch them.

    Spencer was addicted to deluided and although i don't think any of the team tell him they know there are small comments they make which show they do

    Also in the episode 18 series 2 JONES Spencer meets a friend in New Orleans who points out they know

    " It might help you forget but it won't make it go away and if i can tell your surrounded by some of the best minds in the world if you think they don't notice, well for a genius that's just dumb"

    At the end of the episode Spencer admits to Gideon he's struggling and Gideon says anyone who has been through what Spencer has would struggle.

    They talk about walking away from the job and Spencer promises never to miss another plane.

    The next episode ashes and dust the unsub is an arsonist and Spencer talks about the unsubs addiction to fire and being unable to stop without help

    it gets brief mentions in season 2 finale, then season 3 episodes 15 (a higher power) a bigger focus in episode 16 (elephants memory) then more recently season 6 again but they don't put much focus on it.

    idk what happened but when the series first ran Prentiss caught Spencer in the bathroom doing dilatin,then told on him.He denied it by saying he has no marks and she said to look under is watch. IDK why its changed now. I treid to go vack and watch it on Netflix and its gone.
